MEET COREY NOLAND | A Lifelong Resident with a Commitment to Public Service

I have been a lifelong resident of South Bend, IN. I grew up on the west side near the South Bend Motor Speedway. I have been married for 24 years and have two grown children.
In addition to my experience on the St. Joseph County Council, I have spent decades of my professional career serving on various Labor/Management Committees building consensus and working with all the various views and personalities to execute sensible solutions for a myriad of issues and problems. Local government can not operate in a hyper-partisan manner–we must work collaboratively in order to provide the best possible outcomes for our constituents at the absolute best value. With your support, I am confident that I can continue to bring this type of cooperation to the St. Joseph County Council.

1998 – 2001: Executive Board (chairman), IBEW Local #153, Michiana Area Electrical Workers Health & Welfare Trustee
2001 – 2007: President IBEW Local #153, IBEW International Convention delegate, Michiana Area Electrical Workers Health & Welfare, Pension, and Annuity Trustee
2007 – 2009: Business Agent/Membership Development Representative IBEW Local #153, IBEW International Convention delegate, Michiana Area Electrical Workers Health and Welfare, and Pension Trustee.
2009 March to 2011: Service Representative/ Business Development at Koontz-Wagner, IBEW International Convention delegate, Michiana Area Electrical Workers Health and Welfare, and Pension Trustee.
2009 April to present: St. Joseph County Council District B Representative
2011 to 2019: Service Manager Koontz-Wagner Services
2020 to present: President & CEO Koontz-Wagner Services, IBEW Local #1392 Health & Welfare and Pension Funds Trustee.
Along with the list of the above-mentioned offices and positions, I continue to participate in numerous volunteer and community involvement projects, including but not limited to, Christmas in April/ Rebuilding Together, Stuff-a-Bus, Food Bank of Northern Indiana, Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County, South Bend 150, and Habitat For Humanity.
